Antronix Recognized for Its Contribution to Canadian ICT

Cranbury, N.J., April 29, 2019 - Antronix received the Canadian Business Excellence and Innovation in Information Communications Technology Award during the CommTech East Awards Gala in Ontario, Canada in April.

Each year the award recognizes a company that is responding to industry challenges by driving new ideas and pioneering innovation in service to the Canadian Information Communication Technology field. Antronix was specifically recognized for support of Canadian MSOs and for leading frequency expansion in HFC networks. The company was also praised for providing ethical leadership in terms of its partner relations, honest business practices, and industry advocacy.

“We are certainly honored to be receiving this award,” said Antronix vice president of sales Juan Bravo. “We are proud of Antronix’s 40-year history of outstanding service and ethical operations in North America and we remain committed to collaborating with Canada’s providers of all sizes and working with them to develop telecommunications platforms and devices that contribute to the advancement of the industry.”

Since it was established in 1988, engineering and manufacturing company Antronix has been a trailblazer in the broadband cable industry in the United States and Canada. Antronix was the first to produce multi-taps to service out to 1.2 GHz, and is set to be the first to produce an extended frequency multi-tap later this year. The company’s HFC devices provide other advancements like MoCA enhancement and signal conditioning that help MSOs deliver interactive broadband services to subscribers across the United States, Canada, Europe and Latin America.

In accepting the award, Antronix president Neil Tang underscored the company’s continued commitment to developing technology that serves MSOs, and to being keen to the needs of Canadian providers. “Our partnerships give us tremendous confidence that when we innovate, we are doing so to achieve your objectives – regardless of how small, simple, or complicated your challenges may be,” he said to the roomful of key industry representatives.

The Canadian Business Excellence and Innovation award is presented by Canadian CommTech Show & Seminars.
